July 24, 2014 we started dating and have been together ever since. We have traveled together and gone on many adventures including backpacking Europe after we graduated college, then going back to Europe in 2019, as well as annual ski trips to Colorado.

Dakota's proposal was nothing short of a surprise! I was under the impression we were going to Key West for Dakota's birthday. We were walking on the beach before brunch when we stopped, looked at the ocean and then I turn around and see him on one knee. I immediately started crying and could not believe this was truly happening. I then hear screams and cheers coming from the direction of the balcony at our room and see my entire family - mom, dad, brother, grandpa, aunt, uncle etc and even my two best friends. He managed to coordinate having all of my favorite people in one place to be there for our special moment. We are so excited for our future together as husband and wife
